Hoop, an AI-powered productivity startup, has secured $5 million in seed funding led by Index Ventures, with contributions from Origin Ventures, Divergent Capital, and Chingona Ventures. Founded by early Trello team members, Hoop simplifies task management by auto-capturing tasks from tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and email, creating a dynamic to-do list that updates itself.
The funding will enhance Hoopās AI capabilities, expand platform integrations, and introduce collaborative features. A version for teams will launch soon. Co-founder Stella Garber emphasizes that Hoop helps users stay organized and focused by reducing the chaos of managing multiple tools.
Hoopās investor base is notably diverse, including prominent figures such as Zapier CEO Wade Foster and Remote CEO Job van der Voort.
